I am so excited to REVEAL our new kitchen! I will let the pictures do the talking...
One of my favorite things.. a floor to ceiling pantry, complete with two roll out shelves & soft-close doors.
We added a touch of warmth with this eclectic kitchen island and red flat- woven rug.
Absolutely loving our Danze Pre-Rinse stainless faucet and double bowl sink.
Showing off our crisp white subway tile backsplash, complemented by Luna Pearl Granite countertops.
Thank you for following us in our FIRST kitchen remodel. It has been quite a journey, and we are SO PLEASED with the results. More posts to come on our appliances, a few more odd jobs, and the budget breakdown.

It's so beautiful!!! You guys did a fabulous job!
ReplyDeleteThanks Whitney! We are really loving the finished product. Hope you are doing well!
Deletestunning! I love the colors + the wood island - so much class!!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Amy! The wood island was a great find. It is actually a re-manufactured Chinese altar table. It added just the touch of warmth we were looking for. Happy holidays!
DeleteSo proud of you! It is beautiful! And I love all the additional touches on the counters. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! Love that you noticed the additional touches -- detailing and accessorizing are my favorite part!
DeleteLove it! I dream of having a white kitchen. :) Where did you get the rug?!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! The rug was actually a great Craigslist find... It has no tags or anything! (so wish it did, I have gotten a lot of questions about it) Hope you are doing well Sarah! Thank you so much for following!

ReplyDeleteYour kitchen looks great! I really like the contrast of the white cabinets and backsplash to the gray tiles and granite countertops. My only concern is the red rug, since it’s going to be in the splash zone most of the time and might get soaked and moldy as time progresses.
ReplyDeleteBurma
Thank you! We really love how everything turned out. The rug provides a lot of warmth (especially in the winter on the cool tile floors!). Hopefully, if a big spill occurs we can just hang the rug out to dry.
DeleteWe are actually doing a kitchen remodel almost exactly like this! I was wondering what paint color and brand you used on the walls? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThe kitchen wall color is Mindful Grey by Sherwin Williams. You will love it!! It's the perfect grey. Send us your pictures when you are done... We'd love to see how it all turns out Chris and Katie!

ReplyDeleteFinishing your kitchen reno? This is really worth getting excited about, and a great way to end your year! Renovation is very overwhelming, and finishing it can bring quite a relief, both on you and your wallet. Got any big plans for 2014?

Hey Arthur! Yes 2014 is going to be the year of the bathrooms. We have two retro bathrooms that need a complete overhaul. We are looking forward to starting those projects in the next few months.
